Ciaran qualified from the Technological University Dublin and Trinity College Dublin in 1996 and became a Member of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland in 1999. Following four years with Scott Tallon Walker and six years with O’Mahony Pike Architects he founded Hussey Architects in 2009. Ciaran’s experience with STW and OMP on large scale projects was invaluable in the firm’s development. As an Associate Director with OMP his team of 10 architects was working on over 6,000 residential units at masterplanning, design stage and on site.
In 2009 he founded Hussey Architects. The practice specialises in healthcare, hospitality and masterplanning projects. Ciaran is responsible for design on all projects. He completed a post graduate diploma in Construction Law at Trinity College Dublin in 2019 and became an accredited Mediator with CEDR UK - the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution in 2020.
