Ciaran Hussey Dip.Arch.,B.Arch.Sc.(Hons.),MRIAI
Ciaran qualified from the Dublin Institute of Technology and Trinity College Dublin in 1996 and became a Member of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland in 1999. Following four years with Scot Tallon Walker and six years with O’Mahony Pike Architects he founded Hussey Architects in 2009. Ciaran’s experience with STW and OMP on
large scale projects was invaluable in the firm’s development. As an Associate Director with OMP his team of 10 architects was working on over 6000 residential units at masterplanning, design stage and on site.
In the ten years Hussey Architects has been established Ciaran has designed and seen to completion over 100 houses, 6 primary care centres, a nursing home, a hotel, a pub, a creche, 2 museum exhibitions and a GAA clubhouse. He has also completed 12 masterplans. Under his leadership the practice has grown to specialise in healthcare,
hospitality and masterplanning projects. In summer 2019 Ciaran completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Construction Law and Contract Administration at Trinity College Dublin. He is currently designing Newcastlewest Primary Care Centre and an extension to Kildare Primary Care Centre together with managing Rialto Primary Care Centre on site.
